About

Jan is a locally born retired teacher. Married with two daughters and two grandchildren. She can trace her family history a long way back in Guernsey. During the war years 1940-1945 both her parents were evacuated to England with very different experiences.

Jan has a good insight into the war years with her parents experiences and her in-laws experiences as they were living under Nazi rule.
